Certificate of Life Drawing and CAD Illustration - Part Time
Designed as an adjunct to the Certificate of Fashion Drawing [intermediate to advanced], this course will accelerate your knowledge and progress times two! Learn the skill of drawing human shapes and tones with live models - a skill that is indespensable to the fashion industry. This certificate also offers a 6-week introduction into Computer Aided Design [CAD] which is taught to the industry standard.

- Understanding human anatomy.
- Understanding perspective
- Figure drawing from a live model.
- Drawing heads, faces, hands and feet.
- Drawing the costumed figure.
- Drawing draped and gathered cloth.
- Drawing patterned and textured fabics.
- Rendering and shading techniques.
- Working with different media.
- Rapid sketching.
- The effect of light on fabric.
- Folio preparation.
- Introduction to Computer Aided Design software for illustration
Assessment
- Punctual completion of practical work and homework to required standard
- Folio presentation at end of course (details supplied at first session)
